Umbrella Business Quest an Initiative of Ini-Ememobong.

The Umbrella Business Quest is a radio programme that allows various entrepreneurs and qualified contestants to pitch their business idea.
The programme also provides opportunities for audience/listener participation through various platforms. The programme is aired every Thursday by 9:00pm – 10:00pm on Comfort 95.1FM. It is a 90-minute radio programme that rewards outstanding business ideas with capital for startup and expansion. Umbrella Business Quest is proudly sponsored by the Peoples Democratic Party, Akwa Ibom State Chapter.

The programme which started one year ago has impacted positively on the lives of the citizens of Akwa Ibom State both indigenes and non-indigenes and has been able to produce a number of self-made entrepreneurs within a year. It is important to note that a number of business icons have been recognized by adding value to their business through the business icon award and enumeration of N500,000.

Some of the beneficiaries in the icon category are: Eyo Tailoring, the popular “Eka Udo”, Boldoz Books, etc. Additionally, we are glad to mention that through the same programme the Umbrella Business Quest has been able to empower 36 entrepreneurs and also support 82 business icons within a stipulated period of one year. He had, through the Ini-Ememobong foundation equipped a Computer Centre and handed it over to one Mercy James an entrepreneur who has been a two time contestant of the Umbrella Business Quest. All thanks goes to Ini-Ememobong who initiated the programme and made sure it is where it is today.
